KAVAN PRO series motors are high performance 14-pole brushless outrunners. State-of-the-art design, hardened steel shafts, high quality ball bearings, High grade material used for stators and rotors ensure long lifetime and unbeatable performance and high efficiency. KAVAN PRO series motors are low revolution/high torque electric motors capable of swinging large diameter propellers without need for a gearbox. KAVAN PRO 2830-900 KAVAN PRO 2830-900 is a small motor for lightweight model aeroplanes up to 850 g all-up weight powered by 3-4S LiPo flight battery pack. It is great with Dumas RC park-flyer kits 1000-1200 mm SIG/HERR kits and similar models - it is more suitable for slower models (like gliders, 3D aerobatic planes) that work better with a larger propeller with lower rpm. Motor installation: KAVAN 2830-900 has been designed both for the front and radial mount installation. Front mount: Use at least two (opposite) or four M3 screws; these may not go deeper than 3-4 mm into the front case. Radial mount: Use four M3 screws to secure the mounting cross to the firewall. The firewall should be made of 2.0 mm plywood. The radial mount set is supplied with the motor.
